In our efforts to extend our commitment to the planet, we are taking steps and applying green design principles to our newest cafes.
Here are some examples of what we have done from top to bottom.
Overhead We use (LED’s) light emitting diodes and (CFL’s) compact fluorescent light bulbs, both energy efficient and environmentally friendly.
Wall to Wall Our menu boards are made from recycled paper and reclaimed wood. Our TV monitors are energy plus.
Floors to Ceiling We use eco-friendly low VOC non-polluting paints, LEED compliant cement sealers and water based stains to keep indoor air quality pure.
Counter Surface The tables you dine on and the front counters are made from reclaimed and recycled woods. Our kitchen surfaces are stainless steel, a recycled material.
Cleaning Products We clean our café with eco-green non-polluting cleaning products.
Packaging Our food containers and plates are bagasse, a bio-degradable and bio-compostable material made from sugar cane. Even the towels, napkins and silverware are eco-green recyclable. We reduce paper usage through electronic billboards and paper less monitors where one size paper fits all recycled paper cups.
Pizza Ambassadors Our Pizza Ambassadors serve you in organic cotton fabrics.
Water Our entire café is specially triple filtered so you can enjoy a clean glass of tap water. Every recipe we prepare is made from the same triple filtered water.
Menu Our menu is prepared with healthier, better alternatives. Organic pepperoni and red sauce. Artisan doughs: acai multigrain whole wheat, gluten free, and our classic original, all made with extra virgin olive oil. Our menu items contain less sodium, fat and calories.
RedBrick Pizza strives to create a casual dining experience that balances innovation and sustainability. It’s our culture, belief, and passion.
From our family to yours,
